St. Canice's Training Centre
St. Canice's Training Centre opened in 1989 and now offers over ten FETAC certified courses and a large range of other non-exam courses. The provision of a bus service has made our courses even more accessible to Travellers who otherwise would not be able to attend.
Programmes
Sewing, Crafts, Art, Hairdressing, Literacy, Metalwork, Woodwork, Catering, Computers, Lifeskills, PE, Childcare.
Extra Curricular Activities:
St. Canice's offers ongoing extra curricular activities, including:
- First Aid Course
- Swimming
- Health Programmes
- Sport
- Some trainees involved in housing schemes etc
- Other topical subjects as requested by trainees
