DEPUTY PRINCIPAL, PORTLAOISE COLLEGE (Category XVI)

Portlaoise College is a recently developed campus opened in September '06 and provides programmes at post-primary and post leaving certificate level. 

Candidates should hold qualifications recognised by the Department of Education and Skills for the purpose of appointment as teachers in post-primary schools, and will also be expected in addition to have a capacity for and suitable experience in the area of school management.

A candidate proposed for appointment to the teaching staff of Co. Laois V.E.C. shall be currently registered in accordance with Section 31 of the Teaching Council Act, 2001.
