It gives me great pleasure to introduce and welcome you to Co. Laois VEC's website. Co. Laois VEC has provided educational and training services to young people and adults in Laois for over one hundred years.
The Committee provides these services through its three Second Level Schools, its Adult Education provision namely Adult Literacy, VTOS, Youthreach, Traveller Education, BTEI, Community Education and AEGIS as well as a comprehensive range of evening courses and its co-operation with other institutions including two Prison Education Centres. Other services include the payment of grants and scholarships, and the administration of school transport and youth services.
